GuidePanorama for Mac

Keep every coding agent in view

Agents are easy to start and easy to lose track of. Panorama keeps them all on one board with their state on show, and taps you on the shoulder when one is waiting.

curl -fsSL https://getpanorama.app/install.sh | bash
The Panorama board with a sidebar counting working, need-you and resting consoles and listing each one with its status, beside team frames and a kanban board.

Step by step

How to do it in Panorama

  1. Lay it all out on the board

Every console, note, kanban board and doc is a node on one infinite canvas. Pan with two fingers, pinch to zoom, and press ⌘0 to fit everything on screen. Keep a workspace per project and switch with ⌘1 to ⌘9.

  2. Read the status

Each console is working, resting or needs you. Needs you appears when the agent shows an approval or confirmation prompt, such as “Do you want to proceed?” or [y/n]. Working is judged from recent output and from footers agents only draw mid-task, like “esc to interrupt”. If an agent’s prompts aren’t picked up, add your own patterns under Agent status overrides in Settings.

  3. Use the sidebar as a control tower

It counts working, need you and resting for the workspace and lists every console with the ones that need you first. Click a row and the board pans and zooms to that console with the cursor already in it.

  4. Get tapped on the shoulder

When Panorama is in the background, a notification tells you an agent needs you or has finished a long task, and the Dock badge counts the consoles waiting. A dot on a workspace tab shows which project has one. Notifications are on by default and can be switched off in Settings.

  5. Move without the mouse

From the board, arrow keys step between nodes, Tab and ⇧Tab cycle through them, ↵ goes into the selected one and ⌘Esc comes back out. Press ⌘K and enter go to codex to jump to a console by name.

  6. Search all of it

⌘⇧F searches every console’s history, your notes, kanban cards, team chat and docs, and jumps straight to the match.

Good to know

  • Keep output next to the agent that made it: a console that prints a localhost address gets a chip that opens a live web preview beside it, and docs, Mermaid diagrams and a code tree sit on the same board.
  • Drop a kanban card onto a console to send it to that agent as a task.
  • Panorama asks before it closes a running console, and ⌘Z brings back the last 30 things you removed.
  • Running several agents on one job? Put them in a team so their reports land in one chat.

Put your agents on the board.
