Bring your own agents

Works with the CLIs you already pay for.

Panorama launches the agents on your PATH with the logins you already have. Or point a node at any executable — or just open a shell.

Features

A control room for agents that actually run.

Not a chat wrapper. Not a transcript viewer. Every node is the real CLI in a real terminal — and the board handles everything around it.

Real terminals, not transcripts.

Every agent runs in a full PTY. Ctrl‑C, job control and full‑screen TUIs behave exactly as they do in your usual terminal — with history kept across restarts, and optional environment variables for any one console.

Status at a glance.

Working, resting or needs you — on every console and a live status map. A notification and a Dock badge tell you when one is waiting, and the patterns that decide it are tunable per agent.

Search the whole board.

⌘⇧F looks through every console’s history, notes, kanban cards, team chat and docs — and jumps straight to the match.

A team chat that routes the work.

Set a goal in a team’s chat. The orchestrator hands it to a lead you pick, a planner model or everyone at once, then relays each member’s report to the rest of the team — within relay and spend caps.

A workspace per project.

Tabs bound to project folders. Hop between repos without losing a console, run pano . to open the folder you’re in, or export a board to share it.

Loops that know when to stop.

Re-prompt an agent when it goes idle or on an interval — one console or a whole team — until it hits a run cap or prints your stop phrase.

Keyboard-first.

Press ⌘K to spawn, focus, broadcast and add to the board — even a ready-made crew from a template. Arrows walk between nodes, and ⌘Z brings a closed console back.

Bring your own planner.

Optional. Route free-form commands through any OpenAI-compatible endpoint — or Ollama or LM Studio, to stay free and fully offline.

Talk to the board.

Hold ⌘⇧, speak, release. Whisper transcribes on your Mac, and replies come back in the voice built into macOS.

Everything a session needs, on the same canvas.

Live web previews, a kanban board and notes sit right beside the terminals doing the work.

Teams

Run a team, not a pile of tabs.

Give each agent a role and the team one shared chat. Set a goal and the orchestrator routes it — then relays what each member reports back.

  • A team frame holds the members, each with a role: lead, builder, reviewer, tester and more
  • The chat drawer collects reports from members as they finish
  • Pick a lead to coordinate, or fan the goal out to everyone
  • An orchestrator chip shows when relaying is on
A team on the Panorama board: a team frame with its members and their roles, beside the team chat drawer showing report bubbles from the members, the lead selector and the orchestrator chip.

Studios

What agents make, rendered right beside them.

Docs, diagrams and code sit next to the terminals that produced them. No more alt-tabbing to check output.

  • Docs: markdown rendered right on the board, with tables and diagrams
  • Diagrams: Mermaid, drawn beside the work
  • Code tree: browse the repo and read a file without leaving the board
Panorama studios on the board: a rendered markdown document with a sequence diagram and a table, a Mermaid architecture diagram, and a code tree with a file open.

Privacy

Nothing sits between you and your agents.

Free during early access, local-first by design. Everything the board adds runs on your Mac.

  • No account. No code uploaded.

Nothing to sign up for, and Panorama never receives your code, prompts or terminal output. On launch, and every six hours while it stays open, it makes one anonymous update check — just its version number and chip type. Switch it off with Check for updates in Settings.

  • Runs locally.

Whisper transcribes on your Mac after a one-time model download, and terminal history is kept in your user folder — not in any cloud. The planner is opt-in; point it at Ollama or LM Studio to stay fully offline.

  • Your logins, your subscriptions.

Each CLI talks to its own provider, exactly as it does in your terminal. The board needs no API keys of its own.

The details are in the privacy policy.

Install

One line in Terminal.

Free during early access, for macOS 13 Ventura or later on Apple Silicon. Copy, paste, done.

Install command

The whole install
curl -fsSL https://getpanorama.app/install.sh | bash
  • Runs natively on Apple Silicon — no Rosetta, no abstraction layers
  • Installs Panorama.app into /Applications
  • Clears the quarantine flag, so macOS opens it without a warning
  • Adds a pano launcher: pano . opens the current folder as a workspace
